1 tablespoon blood orange zest
2 cups freshly squeezed blood orange juice
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 Package Mint, reserve a few leaves for garnish
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup whole milk
3/4 cup Greek yogurt
Juice lemon and oranges
Add ingredients to bowl and let the flavors marinate together for about an hour, or longer if you would like a stronger mint flavor
Take approximately half of the mint leaves out and pour ingredients into blender or food processor
Process until mint leaves are fine
Pour into ice cream maker and process until frozen!
Either serve immediately or using an ice cream scoop, portion out scoops and freeze. I didn’t do this and the sherbet froze to the point where I could not scoop it easily. I had to cut the sherbet in blocks next time I served.

Scott Wolf (“Party of Five,” “V”) and Courtney Ford (“True Blood,” “Murder in the First”) star as an indifferent husband-and-wife whose marriage has fallen into a pattern of routine where intimate connection is lacking. But when Tom is diagnosed with terminal cancer, he secretly embarks on a mission to find a replacement husband for Valentine and a father for their eight-year-old daughter Phoebe. Wanting to ensure the perfect match, he sets up an online-dating profile for Valentine, which leads him to rediscovering who she is and why he fell in love with her. Along this course, he learns the full value of marriage, family and friendship.
