Thirsty Thursday Valentine’s Day Cocktails and World Nutella Day!!

Today is a combination of one of two of my favorite days…thirsty Thursday and World Nutella Day!!!  No, I didn’t combine the two for today’s recipes, but I did bring a no-bake Nutella Fudge recipe to the blog and a bunch of delicious Valentine’s Day cocktails!  You should even put the Nutella Fudge on the menu for your Valentine’s Day because it will surely be a hit it your Valentine likes Nutella! Nutella Fudge: 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil 1/4 cup Nutella 1/2 cup cocoa powder (or raw cacao powder) 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (or agave nectar) 1/4 honey 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract pinch fine grain sea salt, to taste 3/4 cup raw hazelnuts, roughly chopped; 1/4 for garnish on top, the rest to be stirred into fudge (previous recipe using almond butter and walnuts HERE) Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir until combined Line a meatloaf pan with wax paper and pour fudge into pan Top with leftover hazelnuts Place in freezer for about an hour until fudge hardens Slice and enjoy!  If you aren’t …

Thirsty Thursday: Super Bowl Drinks!

One of the final pieces to your Super Bowl party is your drinks!  Here are three great options for you from Powell & Mahoney! Super Punch Bowl: Combine: 1 cup Powell & Mahoney Pomegranate mixer 2 bottles of chilled sparkling wine 2/3 cups chilled white wine 2 thinly sliced oranges 1 cup diced fresh pineapple Ice cubes as needed Makes 10-12 servings Slim Jimi: Glassware: Salt-rimmed Collins glass half-filled with ice cubes Combine 3 oz. Thirsty Thursday: Powell & Mahoney Cocktails Perfect for Thanksgiving

Can you wrap your head around this…Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK!  One week from TODAY!!!!  I still can’t believe it was 2013 and now 2014 and is almost 2015!!!  Today I am giving you a few great cocktail to add to your Thanksgiving menu.  One that doesn’t entail too much that a few ingredients, a shake, and a pour. Classic Bellini: Glassware: Champagne flute 4 oz. chilled Prosecco and 1 oz. Powell & Mahoney Peach Bellini Garnish: Slice of white peach. Perfect Bloody Mary: Glassware: Pint glass packed In a shaker: 4 oz. Powell & Mahoney Bloody Mary and 1 ½ oz. vodka Gently shake and strain over ice Garnish: Celery stalk, slice of lemon, pickled long beans, olives, salami, grilled shrimp, and/or a slice of crispy bacon Pomegranate Martini: Glassware: Martini glass In a shaker: 2 oz.
